Week of Remembrance Begins

  As the third week of Gleamspire dawns, the Isle turns its gaze toward solemn remembrance. Traditionally, a month of celebration and tribute, this week is devoted to honoring the fallen dragons who gave their lives in the First Scourge and the War of the Titans—the great battles that shaped the foundations of the Draconic Council and secured peace for mortals and wyrm alike.   Ceremonies of skyfire, wreath offerings, and temple vigils are held across the island.   In Vaelora, a choir of silver drakes sang the Lament of the Last Flame.   Sanctuary's Crystal Garden hosts a display of floating runes that chronicle every named dragon lost in the wars.   Ember Watch lit a pyre that burns with the memory-fire of Pyraxys himself.   Citizens are encouraged to leave offerings of gold, song, and written prayer at their local altars.

Time Fractures and Forgotten Hours: A Council Apology

  In an unprecedented announcement, Thyraxias the Wise delivered a public statement on behalf of the Draconic Council:   “To those who feel days misplaced or memories unmoored, you are not wrong. Time itself frays.”   The Council formally apologized for the lack of recent communication, attributing the disruption to the expanding influence of the Mystwood groves. Reports indicate that some areas near Darkwood and Alaryn Refuge experienced loops in time, missed days, and never-mentioned conversations.   The Argent Conclave continues to investigate what they call “a root-spiral unraveling”—a phenomenon where the leyline, time, space, and thought intertwine unpredictably, causing unpredictable events.   All citizens are advised to avoid all Mystwood trees and clusters and report any instances of temporal confusion or visions of alternate selves.

Disturbance in Ashkar Sands — What Happened?

  A violent manaquake rocked the Isle earlier this week, sending tremors across Darkaris, shattering glass in Sanctuary, and creating wild weather surges along the Frosthaven coastline.   All leyline readings point to a source in the Ashkar Sands, a region long considered dangerous and largely unmapped due to its harsh environment.   The Heroes of Honeywood were reportedly seen entering the Sands days before the disturbance.   No word has been received since.   Sylvara the Verdant has expressed concern, and Zarythas the Stormcaller has dispatched a wing of Skywardens to investigate the source of the disruption.

Centaurs Call for Peace — Council Remains Silent (For Now)

  In a surprising twist, a delegation of centaur chieftains has formally requested an audience with the Dragon Council, citing a desire for peaceful reconciliation and coexistence.   This comes on the heels of months of rising tension and mysterious silence from centaur territories.   Thyraxias the Wise is currently in closed-door negotiations within the Council Spire in Vaelora. No public statements have been made.   The Ashen Voice, Annabelle, is rumored to be advising during the negotiations, alongside emissaries from the Argent Conclave.

Where’s Manfred? Merchant of Mayhem Goes Silent

  To the dismay of collectors, smugglers, and thrill-seekers alike, Manfred the Merchant has closed his stalls and returned to his private estate.   Whispers in Darkaris allege that Manfred has begun training a new band of adventurers—a self-styled mercenary group known as Manfred Mann.   Little is known of this new group, but reports say they wear enchanted masks and wield weapons that shimmer like liquid gold.   What their purpose is—and who they answer to—remains to be seen.

City & Town Briefs

  In Honeywood   The Temple of the Rising Scale holds daily prayers for the return of the town’s missing heroes.   Citizens report seeing strange flickers of the adventuring party near the old wishing well, though no one can confirm their source.   In Darkwood   Mystwood growth has advanced near the Elderroot Path.   Locals say the trees now hum in unison at dusk. A child reportedly vanished for three hours, returning with no memory and a silver acorn.   In Alaryn Refuge   Recovery efforts are underway since they were the closest city to the manaquake.   In Sanctuary   Clerics report minor ripples in healing magic. Patients speak of other selves and wrong memories.   The Hall of Healing has opened a new wing dedicated to Mystwood-afflicted minds.   In Vaelora   High tensions around the Council Spire as negotiations with centaurs continue.   The Gleamspire Tribute Parade has been postponed out of respect for the Week of Remembrance.   In Frosthaven Port   Wild sea storms followed the Ashkar surge, but have since calmed.   Divers discovered Mystwood roots burrowing into coral beds—bioluminescent and pulsing with heat.   In Ember Watch   Recovery efforts are underway from the manaquake.
