Creation Myth and the Three Faiths

In the beginning, there was only Aeon, the Creator, the First, the One.   Aeon then created the Light. This was a source of warmth, growth, energy and love. The Light is all things good, all things right in the world.   But by creating this Light and standing in its glow, Aeon also created the Shadow. This was a place where the Light can not pierce, so it lacked everything the Light was. The Shadow is all things dark, all things rotten, cold, and evil.   There are only 3 true faiths:  The first is worship of the Light, embracing warmth, righteousness, hope, mercy and goodness.  Second is worship of Aeon himself, embracing creation, building, craftmanship and neutrality.  The third is to worship the Shadow, embracing its evil, its coldness, its anger, and the desire to return to oblivion before the Light.

The myth and the 3 faiths have spread to all corners of Thuryn save for Theresk, which is largely uncivilized.
