The Library of Oreus
The Library of Oreus is a place of leisure for reading and learning new hobbies and passions. The library houses many books and documents. People read and learn new things in the library and become smarter.
Purpose / Function
The Library of Oreus is a library that was built in the magical school Landorth as a place to store all magical information and knowledge of Thurus. The library try to collect lots of ancient scripts and scrolls from civilisations and cults.
Architecture
The library is built out of marble and has large columns that stand around the outside of the building. There is a large entrance at the front of the library that opens up to a large atrium that has long corridors that stretch for what seems like forever. There is a section of the library reserved for students that study at Landorth.
History
The Library of Oreus was built by a race known as Keepers, they built it with the mages at Landorth to house all the knowledge of Thurus. The Keepers looked after the library over the centuries and casted spells on it to preserve the building. The keepers are believed to be long gone but people have said they are somewhere in the library to this day.
Tourism
Many people from all over Thurus visit the library to read the books and look at magical items that have been conserved in the library. Not only mages visit the library but man people visit to see the architecture of the building.
