Berok Continent

This small continent is where the families that came to lead the Thunderraven Kingdom settled after the Dragon Wars. It consists of a high plateau bordered to the North and South by the Yeheshua, and Vericoln mountains respectively. The land is fertile most of the year, boasting a temperate climate, and very light winters (despite the altitude), and consisting of mostly rolling hills, plains, and highlands, and boasting 1000 meter cliffs that drop directly into the ocean to the East and West. The plateau is an almost impregnable fortress in its own right, but the land hosts numerous defensive strongholds, the oldest of which can be dated to the first year of the new calendar.

It is said that the first peoples originated in these lands, but there is no way to verify these claims. The closest anyone has come is locating the remnants of ancient settlements and signs of the destruction the Dragons wrought on the old world.

The larger landmass itself boasts two lowlands to the North and South separated by the mountain ranges mentioned above. The lowlands consist of a vast mix of rolling plains and thick forestland, and have a much less dangerous coastline, but suffer from the stronger storms that brew in the Southern and Eastern Oceans.
These lands are predominantly inhabited by Humans, but with more ready access to a gentle coastline, they have managed to negotiate trade with other lands.
