Humans
Though Honour is considered foremost in the aspects of Humanity, it is unfortunately also often accompanied by pride. This sense of honour has meant that Humans have refused to bow to the strength of Dragon rule, and as such have defended their lands against Dragon incursions since the Dragon Wars.
Though they initially abandoned their cities to Dragon raids, they refused to abandon them forever, and would repeatedly return and rebuild them after raids, abandoning them only to save their people. Over the years, the cities became tougher, the populations more warlike, and as they found ways to drive off the Dragons, their populations began to grow and expand. Like the Orcs, Humans found ways to make Dragons seek easier targets, and their cities, generally being far from the mountains, seem to have been considered of little value to the larger and elder Dragons.
Drawn to the path of the warrior, Human cities often have large standing armies, though these were not initially of much use against Dragons. Dragons, being much larger, able to fly, and be able to breathe fire led Humans to a state of constant war, and as such, their armies played roles as protectors of the population through their service. Some were lures; luring the Dragons away from the populous, while others were tasked with guiding the population to safety. Human civilization relied heavily on forewarning of Dragon incursions, and on having something that Dragons preferred to Human flesh, namely horses and cattle. and as such, became experts at providing Dragons what they wanted, without losing too much of their progress.
Born into the few cities that were repeatedly rebuilt, they have a faith in the land they live on and in the brave warriors that they train. Humans, like the Orcs, stood and fought the oppressive Dragon raids, but unlike the Orcs, they stood and fought for every inch of ground they gave. Every man and woman fought, fighting from the back of the horses they bred. The reason for their horses and lands remaining largely untouched was the fact that every Human city banded together to hold it. Only when that tactic began to fail and the Dragons to prey on their horses, did they enlist the aid of the Elves they encountered. The Elves did not have the power to protect the cities of their friends, but were able to hide the vast meadows in which their horses were bred.
After the war, Humans chose to rebuild their cities and live on the plains of the world. They rode and found a passion in hunting. As Knights and Sorcerers the Human race built cities and roads and now follow a militaristic code of conduct that has those in power protecting the weak. They are expert riders and live to fight honourable battles in which they favour the Sword, Lance, and Riding-Bow.
Humans are clearly the children of Elves because they follow many of the same physical traits. Some of these include their pointed ears, which are half as pointed as a real Elf’s, and a height and figure that are slightly sturdier, more toward that of an Orc. They have the calmer faces than that of the aggressive Orc, yet they have been through more than the Elves, many having seen combat every day or two of their adult lives.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
The Alagarian Empire is made up predominantly of Human Kingdoms.
On the Berok Continent, there are a number of Human Kingdoms on the lowlands to the North and South, but the central lands are wholly controlled by Elves, meaning trade is exclusively done via sea.
