Ishi <Stone Dragons>

While the word birth is used to describe how their "children" arrive in the world, to say they sprout is more accurate. The "birth" it self is more the act of forming a new separate fresh mind and giving it a body that reflects the new born state.
It take a few billion cycles(approximate 4-5 thousand human years) to grow a new bodies and draw out a mind scapes, before the children can be born. While it was different for the first generation birthed from the first 8, current day new born come in litters of 3 to 4 stone dragons at a time.
Expert brood mothers are able to restart producing the next litter as soon as one is birthed, but will normally choose to rest a few thousand human years.
Being one of The First Existences The Ishi dose not posses genetics in the traditional sense like the modern human. While it isn't considered normal to mingle with those of the same Ishi clan as one self, the side effects of incest, that the modern human experience, dose not exist for the Ishi.

The older they get the slower do they grow.
Current day child Ishi can take the ritual of adulthood, after reaching the approximate age of 70 human years. Where they set out to complete a task, after compleating said task they are awarded with the rights of adulthood.
A notable difference between a Child and an Adult Ishi. Are their eyes, Children will have plain one colour irises, where Adults will have one or two streaks of different colour sectioning off their iris colours.
