Memory Silver

It is a shiny, silvery looking metal which can be moulded and shaped into any variety of objects that are used in daily life.

The metal can take on many properties as determined by spells used upon it. This means that it can be kept constantly cold to the touch, or warm, it can be soft enough to be moulded by hand or so strong that not even a hammer can dent it.

The ore is mined from the ground in areas of extreme magic. In its raw form it is so delicate and so unstable that it can only be mined by magical means, which is why it is not used by the non-magical community as they have no idea it exists.

It is commonly used for household items such as pens and jewellery where its anility to retain specific qualities can make distinctive pieces of high value.

In more recent years, it has been discovered that a specific combination of spells can make the metal retain some of its memory properties undetected. This means that everyday items can be used to spy on people remotely.

It is a commonly used material, for small children (and everyone really) their is a sense of wonder at the properties of this material.

There are many shops across the country that sell items made out of this material and that range in price from a few pounds to hundreds or thousands depending on the quality of the metal and the skill required in the manufacture of the item.

In its raw form, it has to be contained within enchanted cases so it won't cause any damage. Once refined it can be stored in any way, no special care is required for items made out of this material outside of what is normal for the item made.
