Aasamu the Uniter
Goddess of the sun, the moon, and working together as a community.
Followers of Aasamu value striving together as a close knit community. They believe that there is power to be had in agreement among friends and that harmony can be achieved by pursuing common goals without the need for clearly established rules or laws. They believe that as long as there is light in the sky, Aasamu will protect them, and tend to fear dark moonless nights.
There are two main factions of the church of Aasamu. One faction, known as the Sunwardens are deeply entrenched in agricultural life. The sun dominates the harvest cycles and they must work together to reap that harvest. Sunwardens are very family oriented and believe that one should always be there to aid one's family. The other main faction is known as the Moonwraiths. The Moonwraiths believe that one must take on many roles for the advancement of one's community. It is not enough for each person to have their specific role for we all must have at least some level of competency in all aspects of an endeavor. They value quiet nights of fellowship with one's community, exchanging stories and wisdom.
