Miskunasian
The people of Miskunas are a hearty people who live in a harsh and cold land. Miskunians tend to be slightly taller than most humans. They have brown or blond hair with the occasional Miskunasian having red hair. Their eyes are usually grey, blue, green, or brown eyes.

Major language groups and dialects
The language of Miskunas is called Miskunasian. This language is very similar to Lithuanian in our world.
Most Miskunasians also speak Dwarvish as its the primary trade language of Kadrun.
Ideals
Gender Ideals
In Miskunasian society both men and women are expected to be able to fight and defend themselves and both men and women can serve as soldiers. Women are expected to be the primary caregivers for children, but men are expected to assist.
Courtship Ideals
Among the nobility of Miskunas, marriage partners are chosen by the head of the family and these partners are chosen based on a variety of factors such as physical strength and political power. Alliances are often forged by marriage.
For the common folk, courtships often start with one of the potential partners asking the other if they want to go on a hunt and the success of that hunt can be a determining factor in whether the courtship continues. During the hunt, both partners assess the other's skill on the hunt and their battle prowess.
Relationship Ideals
Shared responsibility is the primary relationship ideal for Miskunasian couples. While women have a little more responsibility for taking care of the children, men are expected to help out in ways more than simply providing.
