Gnomes
Gnomes are one of the races of the world of Tholenheim. They are known for their enthusiasm for life and that often manifests itself in spending their time inventing, exploring, investigating, creating, and playing. This causes them to come across as excitable and often times manic. Gnomes go through life wondering if there will be enough time to do everything they want to do.
Some believe that the gnomes were also created by the dwarven god Tholgrim in a joint project with Vundrun, the dwarven goddess of knowledge and secrets, and that explains why the gnomes are so inquisitive and intelligence but less stubborn.
While gnomes form they're own nations, they are also known to culturally integrate with the people that live near them adopting the language and naming conventions of those people. This tendency causes them to be as varied as humans are.
