Fligbug, the Five-Dimensional Banana Slug
Fligbug is a being that exists in five dimensions. Most of us three-dimensional beings in our three-dimensional universes cannot comprehend Fligbug's true form. So Fligbug appears to most 3D beings as something resembling a banana slug—that's really the best our brains can do. But Fligbug knows this, so accommodates our limited perception by assuming elaborate and highly detailed three-dimensional forms that we can relate to, such as an intricate (and fully functional) pocket watch.
To call Fligbug a person, thing, vehicle, and/or something else entirely is, simultaneously exactly correct and also completely off base. There's no way of telling if Fligbug is supra-intelligent or dumber than a box of hammers in a pillow store.
The best that Horatio Q. Booper-Snoot and STEVE! can do is consider Fligbug their pet. Horatio
is able to communicate somewhat with Fligbug using the language of color.
Across the entire multiverse, there is nothing/nobody else like Fligbug. But since no one in all the multiverse is a five-dimensional being, no one would be quite sure if that makes Fligbug unique or omnipresent. However, nobody in the multiverse other than Horatio and STEVE! know of Fligbug's existence, and both of them would rather not tell anyone for some unknown reasons.
