Cernunnos
God of the wild (a.k.a. Horned god, Lord of the wild)
Cernunnos is a god of the wild who rules over pristine nature and uncivilized ways. Animals were his subjects, and free-growing fruits and vegetable his bounty. He is the creator of most life in Thieve.
Cernunnos is a particularly mysterious deity. His name appeared only once in historical sources, and none of his tales has survived from antiquity. He has not been seen in a long time and it is believed that he has either died or is slumbering in the wilds. Modern scholars and neopagans have nevertheless attributed a number of tales to the horned god.
One of these tales, although it is not an official prophecy but more of a folktale, is that when Cernunnos wakes again great changes will happen in the world.

Depictions of the deity include gatherings of animals such as elk, wolves, snakes, and aurochs. Such gatherings are possible thanks to Cernunnos’ ability to bring natural enemies into peaceful communion with one another. He can also make entire forests spring from the ground in the blink of an eye. And as a creator god the rules of the world are subject to his will.
Apparel & Accessories
Cernunnos often carries a Torc, a traditional (Celtic) necklace made of metal, around his neck, horns or simply held in his hand. The significance of this necklace is unknown but legend has it that those who hold it hold power over all animals in the world.
