Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit the target takes 3d10 force damage and the shot bounces to another creature of your choice within 30 feet. Make a new attack roll against the new target and make a new damage roll, which causes the shot to bounce again. A creature can be targeted no more than twice by each casting of this spell. A creature hit a second time by one casting of this spell takes half damage on the second hit.
