Koratana
A seemingly happy go lucky young woman; Kora harbors a mysterious secret. Her home was attacked when she was a small child, and her parents lost to a drow raid, although she does not remember it. She was found on the doorstep to a monastery many miles from her village in Marentis with no memory of how she arrived and no sign of injury. The monks took her in and raised her in their way, harnessing their inner ki. Kora took to martial arts and the art of harnessing ki quickly, and became adept at her craft. At 18 the monks told her how she arrived, and she decided to set out on her own to find her parents, unaware of what happened to them. On her travels she continues to train and discovers her latent ki abilities, summoning spectral gauntlets that enhance her combat ability. As she taps this ability more she discovers the true nature of her talents. A spirit, calling itself Tana, resides within Kora, and lends her power. As the years pass the pair hone their abilities and Kora is able to summon more of Tana’s power at a time, at the price of not remembering her moments while channeling Tana’s strength.
