Tolo'ral Class Cruiser

Cruiser starship of the Sulethis Republic.
The cruiser is actually entirely controlled by drones. It features a lot of hologram projectors that can create fake copies of itself in multiple areas in space. Enemies might be fooled by these and fire at fake copies rather than the ship itself. however the copies cannot fire, so it often only gets to fire once before the copies become irrelevant. After firing, such cruisers often try to move behind an asteroid. This will erase any track the enemy force previously held on the Tol'ral, and allow it to create new copies of itself that are indeterminable. This can be exploited a number of times for more powerful alpha strikes.
However, asteroids are not always present. The copies can still be used in deep space and orbital battles to fool enemy targeting systems, but they wont be fooled for very long for reasons explained above.
The ship also features a heavy armament, which takes a long time to reload but causes an extreme amount of damage. This is designed as an alpha strike ship.
The Tolo'ral has a small number of large weapons, but relatively little way to defend itself from smaller threats like corvettes, fighters and missiles. As such, it is usually supported with long range CIWS missile interception networks and missile strikes from friendly forces. Without escorts, it is quite vulnerable.
Its large fusion reactor is located near the rear along with its engines. It usually engages the enemy frontally, so the enemy is normally unable to exploit this weak zone but a powerful flank attack is likely to destroy a tolo'ral as well. Due to this, it is not usually used when there are large numbers of enemies in a planet orbit. The Tolo'ral usually engages enemies in deep space. Its largest weapons are spinally mounted, but it also has a number of turreted cannons designed to distribute damage across a large number of enemy ships, particularly their heavy ships. When heavy ships are destroyed, it can soften up enemy defences and attacks significantly (though the Tolo'ral probably prefers to be on the offensive as it would be less likely to be flanked). The Tolo'ral - class cruiser has some very thick frontal armour which gets progressively thinner towards the rear. This affords it a great deal of mobility for its firepower and protection without sacrificing too much protection. The lack of crew means that it can maneuver quite quickly compared ot many factions but it has an increased reliance on technology to operate.
