Silencers of

A minor faction that is present in the NGC-815 galaxy, very close to the border between the Alpha and Delta quadrants of the Fortrais Galaxy Cluster.

Within their own society, their nation is called the Silencers of Cavasa. Cavasa is the name of their homeworld, but mentioning the name of this planet to anyone outside of the faction is seen as a crime punishable by death. As such, no one can refer to the faction as the Silencers of Cavasa, so they are outwards known as the Silencers of. It is also heretical to mention the name of their star system to outsiders, Igaxxo.

The Silencers of are highly xenophobic and will most likely destroy any alien forces on sight. In order to further this goal, they direct a significant amount of funding towards the military, and their culture is also quite militarist. Individuals are allowed to own guns. Though they can appear evil from the outside in some perspectives, the Silencers of actually have a more democratic government than most species, and rely on a highly advanced voting system to select leaders. Their leaders are thus encouraged to provide their nation with all it needs for its people to prosper, and vote manipulation and similar propaganda is not allowed by the Silencer government.

They are also a highly unique species. The Xarkar are silicon based lifeforms, comprised mostly out of rocklike materials. This is a rare occurrence in the Fortrais cluster, and some factions would like to study xarkar biology but due to their xenophobic nature this is not easy. They are known to have a very tough build that is difficult to penetrate, which makes them extremely effective soldiers. The Silencers of also seem to find developing mines quite easy despite their low technological advancement. The faction occupies 14 star systems including the Igaxxo system (the name of which is not known to anyone outside of the Silencers of). However, they heal slightly slower compared to a 'typical' organic species. Also, their large cumbersome nature makes it harder for them to move especially when moving long distances. Some debate weather the xarkar species count as organic in the first place. The xarkar think that nature has already given them the perfect form and as such are largely offended by the ideas of genetic engineering, cybernetic implants or modifying their bodies in other ways.

Their starships are quite easy to recognise. They are often described as huge simple shapes of steel armour. Though their starships are very strong and tough for their technology level, just like their species, they are known to be quite slow. The armour of most of their ships are also very well sloped and with no or very few weak points, which makes them harder to destroy. Their thrusters are small but well armoured, making them slow but virtually impossible to mobility-kill. However, despite all this, most of the very advanced Fortran factions have access to much more advanced technology, some of which would penetrate these starships easily. Even the Silencers of know that they must be careful around these massive factions. They hope to expand enough to rival them and eventually take them on. This will take along time, their ships are propelled by large chemical based propellants and FTL travel was achieved fairly recently.

Their homeworld of Cavasa is quite cold compared to that of most species. It is thought that this might be why the xarkar are mostly comprised of rock rather than typical organic matter, as the rock based species could still function in a larger temperature range, theoretically. Cavasa has a temperature range similar to Cela except it has a vastly different ecosystem and atmospheric composition which would make Saelian life impossible there without cybernetic enhancements. The national flag of the Silencers of are white and light green, which seem to be the predominant colours in the majority of this planet's ecosystems.
