Banfranal Spawning Chambers
Across many Banfranal cultures, a queen will establish a large chamber or sometimes more than one which is designed for the queen to lay a large number of eggs and to help support them care for the very young. Due to the sheer size of banfranal queens, these chambers are often much larger than other banfranal structures.
Because the queen is sometimes laying eggs, the rooms are sometimes are subject to cultural taboo; they are often seen as a queen and any very young banfranal's private space and generally other banfranal are only allowed with permission from the queen. This can include renovators who are sent to upgrade these structures. After the queen removes their young from the spawning chambers, usually because they have grown to a strong enough age to advance to the next stage in life, they are unlikely to see the inside of a spawning chamber again, though many banfrnal get exceptions of course. The queen will usually also own other rooms as private spaces, and these would become part of their house. For Labbnanb specifically, her spawning chamber is located quite close to the bridge of the worldship she commands (N.T.S. Dawn). Many other worldship commanding queens will also structure their ships like this as it allows the queen to maintain control at all times in a more efficient manner.
As to be expected, these chambers often feature a large number of eggs with many various stages of progression.
Sometimes, they can incorporate armed turrets that may fire at and kill non-banfranal (the turrets are designed to not be able to detect banfranal at all; even if a hacker takes control of the turret totally they will still not see any banfranal) in order to protect the eggs and queen from invaders. The rooms are also often protected from other banfranal invaders with large blast doors, which would require them to make a very loud sound to breach and give an immense warning to any persons protecting the eggs. Despite these security measures, some rare organised breach attempts have been made and fewer have succeeded. Usually these are rebels who want to fight against an established authority, but not always.
