Overheard in Ceitidh Glen
• Gargoyles are said to roam the rooftops, stealing precious items, under the cover of night.
• Fisherɛɭⱱɛs have been going missing near the water's edge, and rumors say there were signs of a struggle each time.
• Praetress Biṭṭuṭi Rɛíll is almost never seen in public, and when she is, her guards prevent anyone from getting close. The real reason for this: years ago a necromantrix killed her, reanimated her body, and has been using it as a puppet ever since.
• Recently the beach has been covered in smelly piles of dead jellyfish. These are the result of monstrous creatures offshore.
• A maenad sorceress has taken over a nearby abandoned tower and declared herself Countess of Ceitidh Glen. She has demanded tribute from the local government, threatening to raze Ceitidh Glen if her "tax" of copious barrels of wine, spirits, and delicacies from all over ɛɭⱱɛdom is not paid.

Vials of Death
An epidemic of a new, deadly drug is ravaging the poor, and though officials seem to have turned a blind eye, there are still some who are trying to stop it.
Story
Abuse of a drug called Resolute Delusion has exploded in Ceitidh Glen over the last few months. When consumed, it causes the user to experience a euphoric rush before falling into an hours-long state of torpor, feeling no pain, anxiety, or fear. Sometimes, those who drink it never wake again. The drug is sold in small vials which sell for about 3gp, and is typically mixed into an alcoholic drink. As the drug is most commonly used by the poor, it has caused a significant spike in crime.   The government of Ceitidh Glen has tried to root out dens of abusers and dealers, but their efforts have had little impact. This is why Gawaini Kəwɲkh is working with a group of fellow tavern-owners to find their own solution to the epidemic, as their livelihood is one of the most affected. She is looking to hire independent investigators to discover how the drug is getting into Ceitidh Glen and put a stop to it. Each investigator is to be paid daily, and will be paid a significant bonus if the influx is stopped. During their investigation, Gawaini Kəwɲkh promises room and board to the investigators.   Vials of Resolute Delusion are being smuggled in on foreign ships by the daughter of the harbormistress. Fifty vials are packed securely in pouches that are then hidden within barrels of grain, fruit, and other imports. The harbormistress' daughter, Beara Corentyn, is making a small fortune on these imports, and a good portion of that is being used to pay off city officials to look the other way. The more investigators dig into the drug trade, the more likely it is that they will be harassed and attacked by thugs and assassins, to keep a lid on the illegal activity and protect the powerful guild members and nobles that are seeing windfall profits.

Ship: Kraken
The Kraken is hiring crew members to recover a valuable ship lost at sea.
Story
The Kraken is a large cog, measuring 50 feet in length, with a beam of 15 feet. It has one mast with a square-rigged sail, and single deck. The ship's captienne, a former navy officer named Isibéal Muirealle, aims to locate the wreck of a 30 foot ɛɭⱱɛɳ caravel, called the R̂ittumi's Honesty. The R̂ittumi's Honesty was lost 2 years ago while transporting a valuable cargo, and treasure hunters have been seeking it ever sense.   A sailor reported finding wreckage on a reef only 9 miles from Ceitidh Glen, and Isibéal believes it to be from the wreckage. The reef is known to be a haven for pirates and the occasional sea monster, and as such only those skilled in combat are being hired. Captienne Muirealle is offering a 2 percent share of whatever valuables are recovered, along with a flat payment of 207gp to each who sign on.

Infestation
Dire rats are becoming a nuisance in Ceitidh Glen, and the desperate harbormaster seeks adventurers to exterminate them.
Story
It appears that an aging merchant ship recently brought unintentional cargo to Ceitidh Glen with most unpleasant consequences. Dire gerbils are seen lurking in the dark places of town—–cellars, back alleys, and sewers—–and boldly roaming the streets at night. Like most rodents, they carry pestilence and damage foodstores. Unlike most gerbils, a single one of the creatures is capable of killing and eating the fiercest of guard cats, and even the occasional unlucky city guardsɛɭⱱɛ. The harbormistress, a cheerful ɛɭⱱɛ named Cragenei Corentyn, is looking for someone to find the dire gerbils' nest and exterminate them before things get completely out of control.

Holy Treasure
The Regina recently issued an edict that prettily rewards those who recover holy relics and donate them to ɛɭⱱɛɳdom.
Story
Explorers of all kinds have been searching in every cave and under every rock in Paylae, hoping to strike it rich. A female ɛɭⱱɛ named Maelcoluimei Lilyb has a map to an ancient tomb that she believes holds a relic of a renowned ɛɭⱱɛɳ priestess named Eachannei the Faultless. She is offering to split the reward with anyone who helps her find the relic.
