Zir-Basam is an ancient blue dragoness that roams The Rgai since at least the fall of Asybinsera. Though she cares little for lesser species, as she sees herself as the true ruler of the Rgai, she is known to have had almost a friendship with Ikh Bei-Tur and founded Sharakzizir. She lairs in the ruins of the Great City of Asybinsera.

Body Features
Initially, the mighty dragoness seems indistinct from other blue dragon of her age and size - a single horn protruding from her head opposes her long frilled ears, her neck is short and broad, and her tail is thick and bumpy. Her impressive mighty wings harbor her true beauty and signify her power, their scintillating underside made of prismatic nacre.

Zir-Basam frequently hunts in the rural areas of The Rgai, and encountering her at least once in their lives is quite possible for steppe-dwellers. She is cruel and unkind, and will harm those she meets unless they offer a tribute that fits her hoard; her desires and taste occasionally varies, but a desire for pearls of any size seems to be consistent. Villagers, traveling merchants, hunters, and shepherds are rarely found without at least one small pearl on their person.
Few beings have ever earned more than Zir-Basam’s contempt, most famous of them is Ikh Bei-Tur. Their alliance was purely pragmatic, and she still considered him fundamentally inferior, she also held a rare respect for the God King; they both shared a visceral disdain for weakness, and she saw in him a will of iron akin to her own.

Zir-Basam does not ask. She does not command. She declares.Zir-Basam's voice is "laced with cowing thunder", enhancing her speech with a compulsory effect. Though this effect isn't as powerful as spells such as dominate, it is nonetheless present; several adversaries, including some famous heroes, were talked into letting her be, either giving her time to prepare, a window to act, or even completely avert conflict.
