Wing of the Bronze Fellowship

Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
The Wing of the Bronze Fellowship is an elite order of the Arasilian Grand Military Orders, created to tackle problems conventional armies could not resolve. Founded in 1,050 AB at the initiative of Imril, the Fellowship represents a formalization of adventuring companies into the service of the Kingdom of Arasil   Where knights and soldiers embody discipline and hierarchy, the Bronze Fellowship embraces flexibility, ingenuity, and risk. Its members are adventurers first, soldiers second, individuals or bands of mercenaries sworn to oaths of goodwill and loyalty to Arasil. In exchange for this oath, they are granted legitimacy, pay, and protection under the law, transforming freeblades into recognized agents of the realm.

Structure

Unlike the rigid hierarchies of The Silver Chalice or the Grand Armies of the Araso, the Fellowship is deliberately looser in organization. Members are grouped into Bands of 4–12 adventurers, each commanded by a Bronze Captain, who reports directly to AGMO command. Multiple Bands form a Wing, but the Fellowship rarely deploys en masse; they are meant to be scattered, surgical, and efficient.

Culture

The Fellowship is unusual among Arasilian orders because it welcomes outsiders, foreigners, mercenaries, even former brigands, so long as they swear and keep the Bronze Oath.
Within the Fellowship
Members call each other Companions, echoing the Brotherhood of the Copper Way.
When addressed formally by knights or clergy
They are referred to as Bronze Companion or Companion of the Fellowship.
Among themselves
Bands often develop nicknames, songs, or heraldry, which AGMO command tolerates so long as their oaths are honored.

Public Agenda

The Fellowship was conceived as a troubleshooter corps, a response to threats that defied conventional warfare, among them:
  • Investigating magical anomalies.
  • Pursuing rogue sorcerers, monsters, or cults beyond the reach of armies.
  • Performing covert missions that require discretion, adaptability, and unorthodox skill.
  • Operating in terrain or circumstances where regular units would falter.
