The Tale of Ora
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Option 1
The tale of Ora the treasure hunter is quite odd,
As it starts further away with the dragon Nero, the menacing cold.
Nero was greedy, they had plenty of land, but they wanted more
So they started attacking the halflings villages right next to the shore
Village after village, glade after glade, they all fell to the frost,
The fights lasted months, so many casualties, it seemed like all hope had gone lost.
Ora traversed and got to a ridge, upon the great canyon once stood there a bridge.
She starting crossing the chasm when a flash hit her eye,
There were someone or something down there, it was trying to cross and that went awry.
“Is there something down there, or just metal and gore?”
“Hello, I’m here, and I’m freezing please help, I slipped down and fell to the floor”
“I’m also the best treasure hunter one can hire for gold”
He then looked at ora and said “It is labour some to get over the freezing winds, more so for a woman so old”
Ora remarked with a smile “said the elf that fell down the chasm”,
“The name is horacio” He said between a cough a wheeze and a spasm.
She helped him out and got him a sweater to get him feel warmer and cosy,
“Don’t get out without warm clothes”,
“You’ll get sick”,
“I’m fine, stop being so nosey”
The stories about what happens hit the sunny coast like crushing waves,
Ora knew what to do, as she already put that old dragon in chains.
Ora picked up her bag,
a satchel of plums and a spare set of clothes,
She didn’t need much, as she already knows what Nero loathes.
You see, when Ora was younger she put Nero under her little thumb,
“This time won’t be different” Ora thought, “The coldness made that mind numb”
Ora started her way north, along the way she picked up a strange bottle of perfume,
“I picked what I left years ago” there, at the myths’ hidden tomb
Option 2 In the frozen north, Ora and Horacio marched on with great haste, For every moment counted, there was no time to waste. Through icy winds and treacherous terrain, they trudged through snow, But Ora's wisdom and experience guided them where to go. They reached the lair of Nero, where the dragon slept in cold, Ora whispered to Horacio, "We must be brave and bold." With a satchel of plums and the strange perfume in hand, Ora approached the dragon, ready to take a stand. She tossed the plums at Nero, who awoke with a frightful roar, But the scent of the perfume made the dragon's senses soar. Confused by the aroma, Nero hesitated with a snort, Giving Ora and Horacio the chance they sought. The sellsword sprang to action, and Ora took her place, They used the dragon's weakness to secure its fate. Bound in enchanted chains, Nero could no longer fight, And the halfling villages were free from the dragon's icy blight. Ora's wisdom and experience had saved them all that day, Showing the world the strength that older women can display. With Horacio by her side and the dragon now at bay, Ora's tale of triumph will be remembered and passed on to this day.

The story varies but the main idea remains.
