Hot stone cooking

Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
In A'shiraf'sir on celebrations the locals turn to great stone knappers, to carve exceptional slabs of stones into ornated and rectangular flat tablets, and on these tablets huge chunks of meat are being made for the consumption of clan leaders and nobility alike .  
Execution of the ritual
The tablets, are held above open fields of lava or natural fire pits, and by doing so the immense heat Is being radiated from the scorching sources into the tablets.   Then bundles of meat are getting singed, on the tablets. The sizzling meat is then brought to leaders of important factions.  
Affect
The intensity of the searing makes the meat much softer and juicier, it pull apart and melts in the mouth. Such features are so unique and its taste is so distinguished, that it considered as one of the highest delicacies ever known by the mortal tongues.

History

After clan leaders in the east were poisoned in celebrations by being served poisonous game to eradicate competition, the practice of searing game in celebrations by immense heat to eradicate any poisons the game was treated by.
