When the wearer is attacked, the helmet provides a +2 to AC and +4 against critical hits.
Furthermore, every 10 hp lost by the wearer provides an additional +2 deflection bonus to AC. The helmet has 0 dex bonus regardless of the type of armor worn.
Three times per day, the wearer can give all allies within sight and/or hearing range a 1d8 bonus to AC or attack rolls (ally’s choice).
Also three times per day, the wearer can give 5 allies within 120 ft. a +2 to initiative, even after initiative was rolled. The only way to destroy the helmet is by melting it in the waters of the Hildari.
