First Battle of Anvil Towers
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
The First Battle of Anvil Towers was a series of skirmishes in the northeastern shores of the Diarchy of Peraserasia.
Despite what might be concluded from its name, the battle took place over more than two months, and consisted of four different engagements in different locales. The epithet "first" was given by Rhodduw y Morthwyl, though there are no second or third battle, as he maintains that there are more battles to come. Regardless, all battles were won due the vision gained from the Anvil Towers and the ability to utilize them as launch points for naval forces.

Hearing word of a planned operation against the dread fleet, captain Merlin the Dreaded laid a preemptive siege to Flinthold. The siege failed and Rhodduw took initiative, despite his previous plans being rendered worthless.Assault from Ailtwr

The outlooks at Ailtwr spotted the pirates' retreat, and sent out a small force, which sailed forth to start harassing the retreating pirates.Cut off from Cynatftwr and Olafftwr
8/7/1021 - 22/7/1021
The large force amassed by Rhodduw and Osigwen is split into two forces, one setting sail from Cynatftwr and the other from Olafftwr. Capitalizing on the disorganization and exhaustion caused by the harassment campaign, both forces manage to envelop and crush the fleet.Naval Assault on Hideout
30/7/1021 - 17/8/1021
The Peraserasians manage to determine the approximate hideout of the Dread Fleet by triangulating a retreating ship's course; a full assault is launched against the dread fleet's coves and grottos. The battle ends with supposedly the entire Dread Fleet dead or captured; Merlin is killed during the fight, and his body is hanged on display from Olafftwr.
