Unique Features
This herbal root is grown in the southest parts of Demesne of A'shiraf'sir before it is dried, its color is deep orange, and holds unique sweet herbal and floral scents that lingers for long. After the bushes are harvested and dried, the color of the Buakudan deepens and become an amber-brownish color, then used to make incense sticks and powder by Smoke readers as its aroma is intoxicating. Burned Buakudan, losing its orangish color, is turned to have a lasting black pigment, used to make high-end ink used in Obsidian Inkstones.Symbolism in A'shiraf'sirizeen culture
The ancient A'shiraf'sirizeen called the early young bushes of Buakudan 'Xanthous' after the Ka'jeshuri ancestral castle Xanther, located near the fields where Buakudan was used to be grown at before the Ka'jeshuri expanded and conquered all of the southern lands. Some matrons had lit Buakudan incense at their oubliettes to ensure that the subjects will be easy to trace if they are able to escape, as the scent will cling to their skin and make them to be easier to hunt.
