Beccán Eadeáin

Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Wars end in negotiation, after the fighting is done. When over half of my fighting forces were wiped, when my allies are scattered and leaderless, the fighting is done. I did not surrender.
— Beccán's last words and final lesson.
Beccán Eadeáin was the patriarch of Clan Eadeáin. He was an experienced politician, known for his sharp mind and strategic thinking; he served as the Cumadóir of Sabersycha for nearly three decades. After leading a rebellion within the principality, his clan's hideout was found by Imagine Dragonborns and he surrendered. He was executed by the Prince of Sabersycha himself, prior to the Instatement of House Tobar na Draíochta, which superseded his clan.

Social Aptitude

A man of strong will and conviction, Beccán garnered a reputation for not shying away from tough decisions in order to achieve his goals. His pride in his house ran deep and he always sought new ways to increase its power and influence; with the clan's great contribution to the principality as a whole, Beccán believed both he and his family deserve respect and positions of power. Those who crossed him quickly learned to fear his wrath, as he was a man who did not forgive easily, a trait that eventually led to his downfall.   Though Beccán never publicly stated any hostile intent towards House Lugaid nor the Prince of Sabersycha Búadach O' Ailn, he was known for coordinating his clan's operations, utilizing his startegic acumen and his experience as the composer of war against the forces of the principality. He saw both the death of his son and the execution of his grandson as an act of betrayal by Tassach Lugaid and as casus belli for the struggle between his clan and house Lugaid.
