Rhanis is a starch root vegetable found in the mountains of Erit. It is poisonous when not cooked. The plant itself is a perennial vine that grows up to fifty feet long. It is a staple of cooking in Krem, with a mild flavor that easily absorbs the taste of other ingredients.
