The revolt that killed Alsaro, sundered the circle, ripped a kingdom in half, created the sharks & the mermen and merged the animals in the surrounding region together.

Prince Alsaro, heir to the Serferine Kingdom was born with a fondness for animals, and an unnatural amount of power. He is blamed for the deaths of some people who have suddenly vanished or been killed. Wishing for better communication between people and animals, the child augmented the intelligence of the animals, but also encouraged them to be nonviolent. These facts were lost on the people they were meant to reassure, so ignorantly they killed the beasts, which provoked the child to fight back. Hours of furious fighting between townspeople and the animals defending the child, ended after someone landed a killing blow on the kid. Letting loose one last wish for the animals in his care, an explosion levels the immediate borders of his homeland and sends parts of the land falling into the sea. Creating an island in the middle of a continent and new life where none had been before.
