The Landsharks, Mermen and Animals

Sharks are seen stumbling around on legs and men can breathe underwater, and the animals are different.

3 months after the circle was broken, reports of sharks on the beach started coming. And since the kingdom was almost empty at this point the nearest authority was the elves. So the remnants of the kingdom asked for help, the elves investigated and were shocked to see a group of sharks walking. With arms and legs and everything, and they spoke very clearly. They seemed vey confused though, and the elves weren't exactly prepared on what to do with sharks. So they asked for dwarves for help, but the dwarves themselves were shocked to discover men swimming from the depths of the ocean to come up on their boats. The men knew who they were though and they remembered what happened. The sharks didn't, except for two of them. Their names were Grotto and Sandtail, they both tried to swim together but Sandtail realized he couldn't really swim anymore. Actually half the sharks couldn't. But they moved pretty well on the beach sand though. The grovans also came to help the sharks, they taught them how to be and to live in society. People were very wary of them though, and the dwarves offered to guide Sandtail and his group to a more fitting home. Grotto and his group stayed a little longer, and the people who were left started growing fearful of them without cause. Grotto never forgot the fear of the people and left, the mermen left alongside Grotto as well. They knew all to well what could've happened next.
Also while that was happening, the animals who seemed to disappear started to reemerge, changed. Different as if they had forcefully merged with other animals. Some dogs now looked like they were part skunk. Some cats were part snake and there were whale cows somehow? Sloths now had rat like faces and bees, butterflies and torch-bugs were all one thing now. Wolf pigs were hunting in packs. WOLF PIGS. Hunters were flabbergasted, they didn't know whether to shoot or marvel at the new beasts. But that age old curiosity came to them like it comes to all others, they wondered what they taste like.
