Wrinklerats

A deceptive little beast. Wrinklerats like to disguise themselves as smaller than they are to trick their prey. When disguised, they have large wrinkles in the middle of their bodies until they stretch out to attack. They leap and jump and wrap their bodies whatever they go after.

Anatomy

Similar to a rat in almost every way except it is extremely long and much more aggressive.

Genetics and Reproduction

Wrinklerats are very vulnerable when they are born, and so they do not give birth out in the open. So not much is known about the reproduction process except that it takes about 45 days for them to give birth.

Ecology and Habitats

Wrinklerats live in forest and caves, they need places were they can hide and ambush their prey. They'll look for crevices in rock formations so they can stuff themselves into, and pounce on whatever walks by. They'll also do the same in bushes near trees.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Wrinklerats will attack anything they think they can take down. They can't crush you like snakes, but they can choke you or keep you incapacitated while they try to kill you themselves.

Wrinklerats have strong a sense of smell and have great hearing. They can smell whether or not something is edible.

History

Wrinklerats are somehow unfortunately magical creatures, and were not affected by the sundering of the circle. So they have may have been around alot longer than people thought. So no one can say exactly where they're from.
