Ministry of Innovation and Invention
The Ministry of Innovation and Invention is one of the nine current ministries that form the governing body of The City.
The Ministry of Innovation and Invention governs most aspects of technological invention, advancement, study, creation, and maintenance. They are responsible for The City’s mechanical power sources (e.g. water, wind, thermal), development, deployment, and maintenance of technological innovations within other fields (conducted in collaboration with other ministries), and much of The City’s multi-level infrastructure (such as the elevators, pillars, and viewing platforms).
Established in its current form in 3512 PL, the Ministry of Innovation and Invention was effectively created by the official recognition and uplifting of one of The City’s guilds, and the redistribution of overlapping aspects of jurisdiction.
The ministry building is located within the Industrial District of the Third Level, along the central road entering the district, which also features the original bridge viewing platform. Within the building are several high-value, high-danger, and/or top-secret experimental design workshops.
