Ministry of Industry
The Ministry of Industry is one of the nine current ministries that form the governing body of The City.
The Ministry of Industry governs most aspects of industrial production within The City, including mining, harvesting, processing, and manufacturing of resources, production of advanced food products, the majority of construction, and the development and deployment of industrial technology.
Established in its current form in 3251 PL, the longevity of this ministry is generally attributed to the strength of its members as public figures and its embracing of the many guilds that operate within its purview.
The ministry building is located within the Industrial District of the Third Level, and is the largest single building in The City. Unlike most other ministry buildings that are largely or solely dedicated to bureaucracy, the Ministry of Industry also uses its premises to conduct much of its practical education, quality assurance, planning initiatives.
The positions of Minister of Industry is shared by three individuals of equal authority, as has been the case since 3412 PL. The current Ministers of Industry are Guyvan Wrench, Gregor III Westfell, and Osha von Askill. Guyvan Wrench serves as the representative minister for official purposes of The Forum that do not accomodate their structure.
