Ministry of Commerce
The Ministry of Commerce is one of the current nine ministries that form the governing body of The City .
The Ministry of Commerce governs, conducts, and dictates policy concerning all trade within and outside of The City. This includes the distribution and monitoring of “Rivers”, regulation of internal and inter-departmental trade, and the tight control of external trade.
Established in its current form in 3333 PL, its founding was in response to the increase in foreign traders and expeditions venturing into the Southern Wildlands.
The ministry building is located on the Third Level with pride of place as one of the two closest ministries to The Forum, and directly letting out into the Central Courtyards.
The current Minister of Commerce is Colette Boutet, who - having held the position for 113 years - is the longest standing minister within The Forum.
