Where is Nybisalla?

North of Gruent and Jiasote and west of Cortacaffakallyenay & Nyberinz, Nybisalla is a rural theome with famed products.

How is Nybisalla classified?

Benevolent. This rural theome produces good fates for people as much as possible, though Sunraassa doesn't like seeing signs of overpopulation as zie is consciously a rural theome.

What kind of economy and population does Nybisalla have?

As mentioned, famed products. Ice essences are distilled into the crops grown here and into the beautiful, expansive forestry projects. There are a great variety of icy pastels here, as in the architecture of Nyberinz, but these show up throughout the heavily modified 'nature' of Nybisalla. The woods grown here are exceptional for esoteric purposes, while the foods grown here must be eaten with moderation, as they modify the consumer when consumed. In small doses, the most common modification is cold resistance, not through a welling up of inner warmth, but through a confidently serene response to cold temperatures. Larger doses and more ambitious effects are best attained through alchemical distillation rather than heavier consumption, to minimize side effects. Some of the theoretically edible materials grown here are also psychedelic, which is not something that should be interacted with too regularly.

Much of the food eaten in Nybisalla is actually imported, since eating alchemical foods at every meal is bad for one's health even with the land gods' aid.

What is Sunraassa like?

Sunraassa is a strange great hooded serpent as big as a dragon who can often be found slithering through the fields, orchards, and forests of Nybisalla, maintaining the blessings on the land and occasionally seeking out people to talk to them about the ideas of alchemy and how it can be used. These conversations reveal a peculiar uncertainty; there is something delicate and tenuous about Sunraassa's idea of zir own theome and its potentials. Zie seems to seek after a philosophy of alchemy that zie has not attained, and listens dearly attentively to what people say if they have anything to say on the subject at all, as though there was much to learn even from woolgathering ruminations from people who have only a faint idea about what alchemy is or could be.[/p

Sunraassa has another peculiar habit, which is that across a goodly span of time zie assembles a repeating census of Nybisalla, by deliberately visiting and speaking to every person in the theome at least once. Zie gives a sense of not knowing the future as well as most land gods do, and being keen for feedback about what people wish to experience in their lives. This personal attention may contribute to Sunraassa's negative reaction to population growth, as Sunraassa takes such a personal interest in every person, and fears being overwhelmed or rendered parodic by trying to do that with too many people. In return, people often get minor blessings and have a substantial feedback control over the Fates that Sunraassa weaves for them. The regularity of their lives is buttressed by their requests to Sunraassa.

What is the beacon that Sunraassa maintains over Nybisalla?

There is a rare kind of beacon over Nybisalla. It is called an Uncertainty Beacon. It supports people who do not know what they are doing with their lives, and ironically it has very little effect in the well-ordered rural society of Nybisalla itself, where the people have all talked at length with Sunraassa about what they would consider ideal in their lives. Yet it resonates powerfully with Sunraassa zirself, and when zie is done with zir daily endeavors, zie plucks nightly at the Fate-strands that touch on people of uncertain demeanors, trying to give them better futures.
