Who is Oghai the Absent?
Oghai is an Izerah financier whose considerable resources are spread thin across the north-south trade corridor that stretches from Baggil and Tekagol to Toleva and Wraquo. He is also the single biggest shareholder of Choave's caravan.
Oghai walks alongside the caravan all day, using Izerah endurance to keep up without strain; at night, he sleeps in a converted passenger wagon that gives him a little more luxury than the rest of the caravan. Large enough for a Vrash to sleep in, his passenger wagon occasionally carries a passenger additionally to or instead of Oghai. It's a small sacrifice in the name of greater profits.
How did Oghai the Absent get his surname?
For most of Oghai's investments, he is an absentee owner. He doesn't live in the same theomes as the businesses that he owns. He travels regularly with Choave's caravan to check up on how his employees are fairing.
