The Vahany
Vahanyism is a religious belief, and a sect of worshippers of Amora. Vahanists pray to Amora because she is the Goddess of Shadows, and they believe that shadows are capable of protecting them from whatever it is they are trying to escape.

Culture
Vahanyists tend to be helpless and look to others for assistance with problems they cannot solve alone. The Vahany come to the chapel once per family per day because the whole family usually cannot take the time to make the trek to the holy site. There, a prayer is offered to Amora for protection and a hiding place from individuals like guards, tax collectors, and agents that seek to do them harm.
Public Agenda
Vahanyists wish to find protection through Amora. If any of them end up with power or influence, they may try to improve the lives of the other peasants that they know.
Assets
None. Adherents to Vahanyism are without exception poor and helpless, and therefore have the assets of the Tolvajok without any of the centralization or organization.
History
Vahanyism is nearly as old as worshipping Amora herself, but because of the lack of organization there is little known history of Vahanyism. However, the peasants' supplications did cause Amora to shroud the land around Balley Castle in darkness for several hours, making possible the mass exodus from Balley Castle to Braedebekkr via Baybluff that took place in 15832 as Shiva the Destroyer swept across Volorun.
