The Silver Sentry speaks in a slightly low voice, staccato and does not use contractions. He also refers to himself in the third person, and as the Slender Sentry.

Special abilities
The Slender Sentry has the ability to focus his energy on one hostile creature. He points the insignia on his shield at the creature, and at the beginning of his next turn the target must succeed on a DC 20 Dexterity Saving Throw or take 10d8 + 10 force damage (half on a successful save). If something is interposed between the target and the shield's insignia, the attack still fires but collides with the interposed object or creature instead.
Eduard Poximar is the ever-wakeful guardsman of the Crystal Keep. He is stationed in the hall with the Dark Crystal itself, and serves as an alert system and courtsman for the Bond of Olorum.

Eduard Poximar was killed defending Mestone against an attempted invasion from seafaring folk hundreds of years ago. He was found atop a pile of bodies with lacerations all over his face and body.
