Dunebrock Keep

Dunebrock Keep is the one gain the Smoldering Grove gained during their invasion of Tysha. While it was largely an embarrassment for their first military expansion to be cut short by Tysha's successful defensive tactics and Aristea's intervention, in the end they gained what they wanted: security, and control over the road between Tysha and Septenius. With Dunebrock established over the road, which does technically pass through Smoldering Grove territory, they can tax one of the only roadways that connects the Order with the World Garden. Given that Tysha barely manages to scrape by with its limited food production, and the Empire is always interested in Rushalan metalworking, this trade road is very well travelled and very profitable. It also allows the Grove to keep a sizable garrison on the border, should the Incitant Chantry ever decide to call an Exalted March as revenge for the Grove's invasion.
