Personal history
Lupin grew up in a small community mostly populated by other shifters. Lupins pack consisted of 4 grandparents, 4 aunts, 2uncles, his mother and father, 4 cousins, and 6 siblings.
While most shifters are born with their animalistic features or develop them while still in infancy some do not until they are in their adolescence. Lupin was one of those individuals.
Not have any animal like features made lupin the target of ridicule amongst other children. This would be later compounded by the fact that the features he did develop were very minor.
