Early Life & Family Origins

Lotus was born into a family with infernal and human ancestry. The ancestry runs deep and not everyone is born with the tiefling appearance. The infernal blood gave many in the family access to inherent wild magic. The clan was known for crafting specialized spell focuses capable of refining wild magic. These tools allowed members of the family to access powerful spells with a surprising degree of control, making them highly valued contributors to many areas of society.

When Lotus was still very young—barely old enough to form coherent memories—a catastrophic blaze consumed the family compound. Only a handful survived the destruction, and many of those succumbed to their injuries in the days that followed. Lotus’s memories of this event are hazy impressions of roaring fire and choking smoke.

Life on the Streets

After the tragedy, Lotus found himself alone in the world, surviving as an orphan on the streets. His earliest solid memories begin here. He recalls that an older girl watched after him for a short time, though her face, name, and fate have long since faded from his mind.

Despite these hardships, Lotus became resourceful and resilient, relying on his innate magic and quick wits to endure.

Lotus met Alkahan Thims , unlike Lotus, Alkahin was fully aware of his wealthy heritage but deliberately chose a life among the impoverished.

The two quickly formed a close bond. Together, they survived by stealing from the affluent and redistributing what they could to other street children and those in need. Their shared experiences forged a deep friendship built on mutual respect and a desire to help others despite their circumstances.

Current Outlook

Now known as Lotus Luwain, he moves through the world guided by instinct, fragmented memories, and the unpredictable wild magic coursing through him. Though he lacks knowledge of his full heritage, Lotus continues forward shaped by the hardships of his youth and the friendships he has made—particularly his unbreakable bond with Alkahin.
