Akaya Rinstone
A member of the human Wildlanders found on Metropolis II, Akaya Rinstone has always been incredibly curious about the rest of the galaxy. While most Wildlanders are fearful of technology and the growth of the city on the planet Metropolis II, Akaya was more then ready to embrace technology and the change it brought with it. From a young age he idolized the singer Minori Mika, listening to her music for years until one day he was given the chance to meet her. He took this chance eagerly, but when his tribe found out they did everything in their power to stop him from going into the city - going as far as to kidnap and bind him.
This actually lead to a small skirmish where the Metropolis Defense Force was called in along covert forces of Pentagram to bring Akaya Rinstone to the city, saving him from the harsh conditions of his home and the mistreatment he received from his tribe. The Variant Program was created specifically to facilitate Akaya and help him culturally integrate with the city. Of course, The Variant Program was actually a program set up by the organization Pentagram under the guise of governmental leadership.
Akaya was quick to embrace Metropolis II and all of it's quirks, eventually meeting Minori and becoming her familiar.
