Way of Enlightenment

Flow like Water

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you master a fighting style that revolves around calm and simple movements, born from careful observation of your opponent. When an enemy within 5 feet misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to spend 1 ki point and make a single attack against them. You must have a free hand to use this reaction.   Additionally, if you use this reaction while you are under the effects of Patient Defense, its ki point cost is reduced to zero.

Water Crushing Rocks

Also at 3rd level, you learn to focus your strikes extremely precisely, inflicting maximum damage with minimum effort. You may use Wisdom for the attack and damage rolls of monk weapons and unarmed strikes.

Unburdened Mind

Starting at 6th level, your unending tranquility makes you much more resilient to mental hindrances, and lets your body be free of worldly stresses. You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed.   Additionally, as a bonus action, you can spend 2 ki points to gain a fly (hover) speed equal to half your movement speed. This fly (hover) speed lasts for 1 minute.

Aura of Serenity

At 11th level, you confer your own calm demeanor onto your allies, aiding them in combat as a beacon of optimism. While an ally is within 20 feet of you, they gain the benefits of your Unburdened Mind feature, not including your fly (hover) speed if it is active.   Additionally, you can expend a 2 ki points as a bonus action to cause a number of creatures in your Aura up to your Wisdom Modifier (minimum of 1), to gain temporary HP equal to your monk level.

Enlightenment

At 17th level, you have perfected your control of your mind and cleansed your soul of corruption, and your body has followed suit. You are immune to the charmed and frightened conditions, and when you activate your fly (hover) speed, you instead gain a fly (hover) speed equal to your movement speed. Allies within your Aura of Serenity also gain immunity to the charmed and frightened conditions. If a creature enters your Aura under the effect of the frightened or charmed condition, it is suppressed while they remain within your aura.   Additionally, this serenity brings your battlefield focus to unearthly levels. When you would be hit by an attack roll, you can spend 3 ki points to make the attack miss instead.
