Splintershield
Beginning at 3rd level, your rage manifests shifting splinters
of glass around you.
While you are raging, you have a bonus to your AC equal to
your proficiency modifier against the first attack against you
each round. The first time you are hit by an attack each round,
one creature within 5 ft of you takes 1d4 piercing damage.
This damage counts as magical for overcoming resistance and
immunity to nonmagical piercing damage.
This damage increases to 2d4 at 5th level, 3d4 at 10th level,
and 4d4 at 14th level.
Sharpened Blades
Also at 3rd level, while you are raging, your melee weapon
attacks deal an additional 1d4 piercing damage as shards of
glass flow along your weapon.
You gain this benefit even when you aren't raging beginning
at 6th level.
Flowing Slivers
At 6th level, when a creature you can see within 30 feet is
attacked, after you see the roll but before you know whether
the attack has hit or miss, you may spend your reaction to
grant that creature the benefits of Splintershield, possibly
causing the attack to miss.
Crystalline Skin
Beginning at 10th level, creatures have disadvantage on
Grapple checks that target you or a creature that has been
affected by Flowing Slivers this round.
Additionally, you cannot be petrified while raging.
Improved Splintershield
At 14th level, Splintershield now affects the first 2 attacks
against you per round. This benefit is also granted to the
target of Flowing Slivers. (Flowing Slivers grants bonus AC
against the triggering attack and the next attack made against
that creature.)
