Circle of the Guardian
Wild Guardian
Beginning at 2nd level, you have discovered the ability to call
forth help from the wilderness, your wild guardian. Over the
course of ten minutes, you perform a druidic ceremony. At the
end of this ceremony, a Tiny beast of CR 0 appears in an
unoccupied spot within 5 feet of you. The beast is loyal only to
you, and you can comprehend and verbally communicate with
it. It remains until it dies, or until you use this feature to
conjure it again (possibly in a different form), at which point it
vanishes.
Your wild guardian obeys your commands as best it can. It
rolls for initiative like any other creature, but you determine
its actions, decisions, attitudes, and so on. If you are
incapacitated or absent, it acts on its own.
Nature's Fury
Also at 2nd level, as a bonus action you can touch your wild
guardian and expend a use of your Wild Shape to imbue it
with the hungering wrath of nature. Choose a beast of CR 1/4
or lower. Your wild guardian transforms into this creature for
1 hour, or until it is reduced to 0 hit points or dies. Its game
statistics are replaced by the statistics of the chosen beast, but
it retains its personality, and it remains under your command
as per your Wild Guardian feature.
Primal Might
At 6th level, your bond with your guardian has grown even
stronger. While it is transformed by your Nature's Fury
feature, your wild guardian gains a bonus to its AC equal to
your Wisdom modifier while it isn't wearing barding, and it
gains a number of temporary hit points for the
transformation's duration equal to twice your Druid level.
Additionally, your wild guardian's attacks count as magical
for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to
nonmagical attacks and damage.
True Wild
Starting at 10th level, when you use your Nature's Fury
feature, you can expend two uses of Wild Shape at the same
time to have your guardian instead take the form of a beast of
CR 2 or lower. If you do so, the duration of the transformation
becomes 10 minutes, and the amount of temporary hit points
it gains from transforming is doubled.
Unbreakable Bond
At 14th level, you and your wild guardian are almost as one.
You can communicate telepathically with your wild guardian
as long as it is on the same plane of existence as you, and
while you and your ally are within 60 feet of each other, you or
your guardian can use a bonus action to teleport to an
unoccupied space within 5 feet of the other.
Once one of you has teleported in this way, neither of you
can use this feature to teleport again until you have completed
a short or long rest.
