Circle of the Eldritch Moon

Circle Spells

Your aberrant understanding of the cosmos grants you access to certain spells. At 2nd level, you learn the eldritch blast cantrip. At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to the spells listed for that level in the Circle of the Eldritch Moon Spells table. Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn't count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn't appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

Horrifying Transformation

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain the ability to use Wild Shape on your turn as a bonus action, rather than as an action.   Additionally, when you transform you can expend a spell slot to force every creature within 10 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure they are frightened of you until the end of their next turn. The area of this effect increases by 5 feet for every spell slot you spend above 1st to a maximum of 30 feet.

Aberrant Forms

The rites of your circle grant you the ability to transform into bizarre and alien forms. Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into an aberration with a challenge rating as high as 1.   You ignore the Max. CR column of the Beast Shapes table, but must abide by the other limitations there. You can only cast spells while in Wild Shape if the form has the ability to do so, and only the spells available to that form. If the form has any at will spells, you must spend spell slots in order to cast them. Any conditions you have inflicted while in Wild Shape immidiately end when you turn back.   Starting at 6th level, you can transform into an aberration with a challenge rating as high as your druid level divided by 3, rounded down.

Insidious Strikes

Starting at 6th level, your attacks in aberration form count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Abhorrent Wild Shape

At 10th level, you can expend two uses of Wild Shape at the same time to increase the CR of the aberrations you can transform into by 2, while transformed in this way the duration of your Wild Shape is halved. Once you use this feature you can't use it again until you complete a long rest.

Aura of Madness

Starting at 14th level yoStarting at 14th level you broadcast the terrible cosmic realization into the minds of nearby creatures. While you are in aberration form, whenever one or more creatures within 10 feet of you make an Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma saving throw against a spell or magical effect, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on that saving throw.
