Battle Grit
Starting at 1st level, you gain proficiency with light armour,
medium armour, and martial weapons. Additionally, you
can use your Strength modifier, rather than your Dexterity
modifier, to determine your AC while wearing armour.
Finally, you can use any martial weapon you're holding as a
spellcasting focus for your sorcerer spells.
Conquest and Dominion
Also at 1st level, you can declare dominion over your foes.
As a bonus action on your turn, you can spend a spell slot
to channel your battle magic, gaining temporary hit points
equal to 5 times the expended spell slots level + your
Charisma modifier, as well as the following benefits:
- Your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 1d6
- force damage to any target they hit.
- You have advantage on Strength checks.
These benefits last for 10 minutes, until you lose
these temporary hit points, or until you use this
feature again.
You can use this feature once without expending
a spell slot, as if you had expended a spell slot at
the highest level you can cast, up to 3rd level.
Once you use this feature this way, you can't
do so again until you finish a long rest.
Strike of Retribution
Starting at 6th level, you're able to strike out at those who
would dare attack you. When a creature hits you with an
attack, you can use your reaction to move up to your speed
directly towards that creature and make a single melee
weapon attack against it. If the attack hits, you deal an
additional 1d6 force damage to the creature.
Additionally, when you hit a creature with this attack, you
can spend up to 3 sorcery points. For each sorcery point
you spend, you can push the creature up to 10 feet directly
away from you.
Sorcerous Onslaught
At 14th level, your sorcery fuels your ferocity in battle.
When you spend sorcery points on a metamagic options or
features gained through your Acheron Ancestry, you gain a
number of onslaught dice equal to the number of sorcery
points spent, each of which are d4's. An onslaught dice
gained this way lasts for 1 hour.
When you hit a creature with a weapon attack on your
turn, you can expend a number of onslaught dice up to your
Charisma modifier (minimum of 1). You add the expended
onslaught dice to the damage of the attack.
Avatar of Battle
At 18th level, you're able to fully embrace your martial
magic, and can become an unstoppable force on the
battlefield. As an action on your turn, you can expend 6
sorcery points, becoming an avatar of battle for 1 minute.
While in this form, you gain the following benefits:
You gain a base AC of 20 (your Strength or Dexterity
modifier doesn't affect this number).
You gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and
slashing damage.
Your onslaught dice become d6's.
