Session 18 - The Sewers and the Death of Thorkel

Pressing on through the sewers, the group runs in to slimes that corrode weapons and armour known as Black Puddings! Escaping the slimes, they soon run in to more issues - a nest of Giant Spiders!

Brenlazar attempts to speak to the spiders using some new-found abilities, but the negotiations go poorly. Hungry, the spiders attack! During the combat, Thorkel is killed, the spiders attempting to drag his corpse away to feed upon. Xaphia steps up and uses some powerful magic to assist the group - much to their surprise!

Unfortunately, Thorkel is lost. Brenlazar carries his corpse onwards, as the party seek to find a way out.
