The World of Varda

Legends say that it was the First Gods that created Varda, sculpting it as they saw fit. Then a great war of the heavens all but destroyed what remained of those ancient and powerful beings. Varda lived on, the mortal races forging their own paths, praying to Gods that may or may-not exist. As centuries progress, kingdoms and empires rise and fall. Heroes are born and ultimately die, and the energies of the Weave continue eternally, the last traces of what may have once been. But not all is as it seems, as Dark Powers beyond the Material Realm ebb and flow, and the whispers of the Old Ones reach in to the world once again...
What is Varda?
Varda is a fictional world created by Anthony Vine that is a setting to be used in Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. After many years of this world existing as a thought, it is finally being detailed and written down! Whereas Varda is an extensive and vast world, the majority of the current D&D Campaign is taking place in the Kingdom of Arden. This will be primarily fleshed out as the Players progress, but other aspects of the world may be added when the need arises (or out of boredom!)
