Snej

Snejan are a playable race in The World of the Power.

Snej Traits

Creature Type: Humanoid
Size: Small (about 2-4 feet tall)
Speed: 30 feet

  As a Snej, you have these special traits.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colors in that darkness only as shades of gray.
Preserving Touch. As a Magic action, you touch a creature and roll a number of d4s equal to your Proficiency Bonus. The creature regains a number of Hit Points equal to the total rolled. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
Snejan Lineage. Snejan connection to dragons can manifest in unpredictable ways in an individual Snej. Choose one of the following legacy options for your Snej:

• White Fur. Whenever you make an ability or tool check in which you are proficient, you can roll a d4 and add the result to your roll. You can choose to use this feature after you roll your check, but before you know the result. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining expended uses at the end of a Long Rest.
• Silver Fur. You gain resistance to cold damage. Once per long rest, you can cause your silver fur to shimmer to gain advantage on a Charisma (Persuasion) check.
  
• Blue Fur. You learn the Ray of Frost cantrip. You may replace this cantrip with any other cantrip from the Sorcerer spell list at the end of a Long Rest. When you reach character levels 3 and 5, you learn higher-level spells, each of which you may cast once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast it in that way when you finish a Long Rest. Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for the spells when you cast with this trait (choose the ability when you select this lineage). You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level.
  At 3rd level you learn the Shield spell. At 5th level you learn the Web spell.
