Kjöllar
The Kjöllar are a race of smaller stature, but hardy resolve. They are stubborn, resilient, and resourceful, and they show a keen love for learning and building. Kjöllen people posses wide, pointed ears that are layers with thin fluff. The interiors of their ears are protected with a tuft of white cotton-like fluff. Thin, dark-teal fur covers their whole bodies, and is decorated with stripes of dark grey, much like a tiger. Kjöllar possess eyes of unique color: the scelra is often as dark as the pupil, but Kjöllen irises are often of vibrant and unique shades, such as red or green. Kjöllar possess noses which are often flatter in appearance, and align with their long, curved brows, which are adorned with lengthy eyebrow hairs. Male Kjöllar often leave these to grow long, to indicate their age and wisdom. Sometimes, a Kjöllar who has proven themselves to be poor of judgement will have a length of their eyebrow hairs cut. Female Kjöllar are not held to the same expectations, and are not viewed differently if they choose to trim their eyebrow hairs: as such, most female Kjöllar keep their eyebrows short to appear younger.
The Kjöllar are not originally an arctic species, and the fur they possess is much too thin to be of real use in the snowy climate. Thus, to survive, Kjöllar who live in the North adorn garb usually consisting of many furs.
The Kjöllar are an old race, as old as the Elves in fact. Their excellent architecture is still visible today in the remnants of their old cities and towns in Central Aederace, however many of these have seem major damages as a result of war and minority-suppressing efforts of some factions.
The greatest city of the Kjöllar was on the North-West peninsula of Aederace, but due to conflict they were forced even further north.
